With the complex project 'Coast Vision', the Flemish government wants to develop a long-term approach to protecting the coast against a 3 meter rise in sea level. It is being investigated where the future coastline should be located and what the impact would be.

Endeavour was asked to organise 8 thematic sessions in which a dialogue was started with stakeholders from the entire coastal region.

The sessions considered the impact of sea level rise and possible shoreline locations. Each session was introduced by one of the experts and then collaborated in an online canvas.

We repeated this format for the themes of heritage, tourism, logistics & energy, nature & ecology, economy & fisheries, agriculture, drinking water and housing. The sessions were prepared with experts connected to the complex project.

The discussions during the sessions and results will be taken into account in the further design process. More info about the complex project can be found on the website.
